“I’ve been blind since birth. And I think the disabled  community and the queer community kind of go hand in hand because we want people to accept us for who we are. And, the queer community is just that. When it comes to gender and sexual identity, I think we’re just people. Why they gender certain things makes no sense. Since I've gotten older and after I thought about it, it’s like, ‘Who cares?’ You should just be whoever you want to be. Why they separate things makes no sense. It is 2021. Just be yourself.”
— Ian Perrault (he/him, they/them), 37, we’re just people, we’re just people.
